Dispatch Times

Orders are usually posted on the same day or the next working day and will always be dispatched within three working days unless otherwise agreed.

Orders placed while we are closed on Wednesdays or Sundays will be posted on the next working day.

If you require delivery by a particular date, please contact us before purchasing and we will do our best to help.

Personalised, resized, adjusted or made-to-order items may take longer to dispatch. We will contact you to confirm the expected posting date, or you may contact us before purchasing for an estimated timeframe.

Delivery through our website is currently available within the United Kingdom only. For international delivery enquiries, please contact us before placing your order.

Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers may be purchased in-store, over the telephone or online.

We offer free First Class delivery on gift vouchers. Please allow at least two working days for delivery. Gift vouchers are also available for Click & Collect.

Gift vouchers may be redeemed in-store against new jewellery purchases, repairs or alterations and are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

Gift vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash and are non-refundable except where cancellation or refund rights apply by law. Once a gift voucher has been used, no refund will be available for the amount already redeemed.

In-Store Returns Policy

We hope you are delighted with your purchase. If an item purchased in-store is unsuitable, we may offer an exchange, gift voucher or credit note, provided it is returned within 30 days of purchase, accompanied by proof of purchase and shows no signs of wear, damage or alteration.

Refunds are not normally offered for in-store purchases where the customer has simply changed their mind.

Bespoke, engraved, resized, personalised, adjusted or otherwise customised items cannot be returned because of a change of mind.

This goodwill policy does not affect your statutory rights. If an item is faulty, misdescribed or not of satisfactory quality, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can provide an appropriate remedy.

Online Returns Policy

We hope you are delighted with your purchase. However, if an item purchased online is unsuitable, you may return it to us in-store or by post.

Your statutory cancellation rights

You have the right to cancel an eligible online order within 14 days of receiving it. You must tell us within this period that you wish to cancel. You then have a further 14 days to return the item.

For a cancellation made within this statutory period, we will refund:

  • the price paid for the item; and
  • the cost of the standard delivery service offered for that order.

Where delivery was provided free of charge, no delivery refund will be due. If you selected a more expensive delivery option than the standard service offered for that order, the additional delivery cost will not be refunded.

You are responsible for the cost of returning an unwanted item unless the item is faulty, misdescribed or we have agreed otherwise.

Refunds made under your statutory cancellation rights will be returned to the original payment method.

Our 30-day returns policy

In addition to your statutory rights, we offer a 30-day returns policy for eligible online purchases.

Items must be returned to us within 30 days of receipt, accompanied by proof of purchase and must show no signs of wear, damage or alteration.

For eligible items returned outside the statutory cancellation period but within our 30-day returns period, we will offer a refund, exchange, gift voucher or credit note. Original delivery charges will not normally be refunded unless required by law.

Any refund will be made to the original payment method. Gift vouchers and credit notes issued for returned items will be valid for 12 months from the date of issue.

Items that cannot be returned because of a change of mind

Bespoke, engraved, resized, personalised, adjusted or otherwise customised items cannot be returned or refunded simply because you have changed your mind.

This does not affect your statutory rights if an item is faulty, misdescribed or not of satisfactory quality.

Faulty or misdescribed items

If an item is faulty, misdescribed or not of satisfactory quality, please contact us as soon as possible.

Depending on the circumstances and how long you have owned the item, you may be entitled to a refund, repair, replacement or price reduction under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

We will cover reasonable return costs where required by law. Please contact us before posting a faulty item so that we can agree an appropriate and secure method of return.

Refund times

Where goods are being returned under your statutory cancellation rights, we will issue any refund due within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or receiving evidence that you have sent them back, whichever is earlier.

If the goods have not yet been dispatched, we will issue any refund due within 14 days of being informed of your cancellation.

Returning an unwanted item by post

When returning an unwanted item by post, please use a secure and appropriately insured service, such as Royal Mail Special Delivery.

Please retain your proof of posting. For unwanted returns arranged by you, we cannot accept responsibility for items lost or damaged before they reach us.

Wherever possible, please return items in their original presentation packaging to help protect them during transit. The absence of original packaging does not affect your statutory rights.

For security, please address the outer parcel to “Coppins” only. Do not write “Goldsmiths & Jewellers”, “jewellery” or describe the contents anywhere on the outside of the package.
